Gesher Tzar Meod – גשר צר מאוד

I spent today hunkered down with my family in Watertown, MA, keeping our kids busy while I listening for sirens as a manhunt goes on a few miles from our house for the alleged Boston Marathon bomber. The words that Temple Israel’s Rabbi Ronne Friedman read at Thursday’s Interfaith Service to honor the memory of the victims of the bombing resonate:

כל העולם כולו גשר צר מאוד, והעיקר – לא לפחד כלל

All the world is a very narrow bridge, and the most important thing is not to fear at all.
